I realized that I haven't told a lot of the really good, funny stories that have happened this semester of COLLEGE LIFE, so here you go.
~I had tried to make a pancake breakfast, notice the word 'tried'. Needless to say I was awful at it. I forgot to spray the pan and then I had to use a new pan because it was so badly caked on. Then I burnt far too many to count and couldn't figure out how to flip the pancakes over so it ended up looking like some blob that was cooked in only a few spots. But I really wanted pancakes so I gave up on the stove and tried to make them in the microwave. Let's just say that those ones came out super rubbery and that I didn't have any pancakes that day. However, my entire apartment was filled with the smell.
~My sister and I made this hamburger helper thing but realized that we didn't have any hamburger so we used ground turkey instead. It seemed fine when we were cooking it and then we sat down to eat it and it just smelt so nasty. Plus when you ate it you could only taste the smell, not the food. It was so disgusting that we put it all in a container to trap the stink from spreading. Eventually we ended up giving it to someone else.
~In my apartment we like to start singing the song of "listen to your heart" when somebody doesn't really know what to do. This started when I kept on saying "do what your heart tells you" whenever anyone would ask me for advice. Don't ask me how exactly but that ended up with the song. So one day we were discussing boys, what else is there to talk about :), and I said another heart line. This one was "the heart wants what the heart wants". My roommates gave me wierd looks and then I stated that "that's probably the dumbest thing I've ever said". So now my apartment likes to use funny heart wanting songs and lines all of the time.
